100% Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Bison Suet (organ fat) Tallow
Our bison tallow is crafted from nutrient-rich rendered bison fat, a traditional ingredient known for its deeply moisturizing properties. Naturally rich in vitamins and fatty acids, tallow closely resembles the oils found in human skin, making it an excellent natural moisturizer. Rich in vitamins A, D, and K, this bison tallow closely matches our skin’s natural oils.
Calendula is an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and wound-healing agent. Rich in natural flavonoids and carotenoids, it gently calms irritated skin, supports collagen production, and helps care for everyday concerns like eczema*, diaper rash, and minor cuts—bringing simple, effective nourishment. We have a LOT of Calendula in Wisconsin, so it sparked the name "wild pasture."
Chamomile naturally helps calm inflammation, protect the skin with antioxidants, and keep things balanced with its antimicrobial properties. It’s especially helpful for soothing sensitive or irritated skin, easing redness from acne or rosacea, and supporting the healing of things like minor burns or eczema*. At the same time, it works quietly in the background to fight free radicals and support healthy, more resilient skin over time.
Organic, Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil:
We add this oil (in a 4 parts tallow to 1 part jojoba) helps achieve maximum absorption and softens the otherwise firm consistency of tallow. Jojoba mimics our skin's natural sebum, ensuring the oil won't clog your pores while still deeply moisturizing.

Uses:
Sensitive, dry areas prone to inflammation.
What it smells like:
VERY herbal! But not floral. This blend is more about the healing nature of the product vs. the enjoyable scent. It smells like a cup of beneficial loose leaf tea. Chamomile is mild, pleasant, and has a sweet aroma. Calendula is a little more robust in smell, much like sun-dried hay. Slightly bitter, but much more mild than the notes of chamomile.

Size note: Due to the nature of a whipped balm, the ounces are by volume and not by weight. The whipped consistency is highly desirable for its silky texture and easy spreadability. At this time we do not sell a balm.
