The Tallow Difference
Sourced from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished, pasture-raised bison, our tallow is rich in essential fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids, which help support the skin barrier, lock in moisture, and promote soft, resilient skin.
Naturally abundant in vitamins A, D, E, and K, grass-fed tallow is rich in beta-carotene and provides the same fat-soluble nutrients your skin recognizes and utilizes for repair, hydration, and overall skin health.
Our tallow has a yellow tint to it, indicating its grass-fed, nutrient dense nature.
We find the balance of rendering in preserving nutrients while also deodorizing the tallow.
We render only the best suet (organ fat) slowly, preserving nutrients while purifying the fat down to it's truest form, free of any meat particles that could cause the tallow to stink or spoil.

Why Bison?
Bison naturally contain higher levels of CLA, a beneficial fatty acid that has been shown to support the skin’s structure and promote a smoother, healthier appearance. They’re also rich in omega fatty acids, which play an important role in maintaining a well-nourished skin barrier—leaving skin feeling softer, more balanced, and deeply hydrated.
But here's the real difference:
We know these bison. We know when they were born, how they were raised, what grasses they're fed on, the quality of their daily lives, their low-stress environment, and how they're humanely field harvested in the end. Just like you can see the quality difference in our meat, you can see the difference in our tallow.

Meet the Maker
Not originally from here, Melody is thankful for God's path that lead to a beautiful bison ranch in the rural Northwoods of Wisconsin. Always a scrappy homemaker, Melody would make from scratch her laundry detergent, soaps, and cleaners to get all natural alternatives at a cheaper price. She learned early on about harmful chemicals, dyes, fragrances, and synthetics in skincare, and was known to just put a drop of castor oil on her face for moisturizer because she wasn't sure what else to use!
After purchasing "deodorized beef tallow" online, and learning to make her own lotions and soaps, she realized the bison suet from the ranch's harvest was just sitting in the freezer unused. So both John and Melody set to figuring out how to create a valuable product that was actually nutrient rich (and did NOT include Amazon bought beef tallow).
Melody has owned her own design business for over 13 years, has had several side hustles, loving to create from new ideas. She homeschools her two children, and loves her new endeavors in becoming a bison ranch hand.
